Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2022 is estimated at 10,550 hectares, an increase of 1,669 hectares or 18.80 percent compared to the rice harvested area in 2021 which is 8,881 hectares.
Rice production in 2022 is estimated at 37,966.25 tons of MDG, an increase of 7,999 tons of MDG or 26.69 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which is around 29,967.31 tons of MDG.
Rice production in 2022 for food consumption is estimated at 22,507.84 tons, an increase of 4,742 tons or 26.69 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 17,765.75 tons.
