Abstract

The paddy harvested area in 2021 is estimated at 11,057.04 hectares, an increase of 1,173.99 hectares or 11.88 percent compared to 2020 which was 9,883.05 hectares.
Rice production in 2021 is estimated at 38,164.61 MDG, an increase of 4,590.33 tons of MDG or 13.67 percent compared to 2020 which was 33,574.28 MDG.
If the potential for rice production in 2021 is converted into rice for the population's food consumption, then rice production in 2021 is estimated at 22,508.87 tons, an increase of 2,707.29 tons or 13.67 percent compared to 2020 which was 19,801.58 tons.
