Abstract

The rice harvested area in 2021 is estimated at 8.88 thousand hectares, a decrease of 1.002 thousand hectares or 10.14 percent compared to 2020 which was 9.88 thousand hectares.
Rice production in 2021 is estimated at 29.97 thousand tons of MDG, a decrease of 3.61 thousand tons of MDG or 10.74 percent compared to 2020 which was 33.57 thousand tons of MDG.
Rice production in 2021 for food consumption is estimated at 17.76 thousand tons, a decrease of 2.03 thousand tons or 10.74 percent compared to rice production in 2020 which was 19.90 thousand tons.
