Abstract

  • The total of economically active in Bulungan Regency in August 2021 reached 68,246 people, an increase of 1,884 people compared to August 2020. In line with the increase in the total of economically active, the Labor Force Participation Rate also increased by 1.24 percentage points.
  • The August 2021 Unemployment Rate (TPT) was 4.54 percent, an increase of 0.09 percentage point compared to August 2020
  • The working population is 65,146 people, an increase of 1,740 people from August 2020. Employment fields that experienced the largest percentage increase were the Agriculture Sector (1.54 percentage points). Meanwhile, the sector that experienced the biggest decline was the Manufacturing Sector (1.39 percentage point).
  • There are 8,226 people (8.27 percent of the working age population) affected by COVID-19. Consisting of unemployment due to COVID-19 (266 people), Non-Work Force due to COVID-19 (274 people), temporarily not working due to COVID-19 (701 people), and working residents who experienced a reduction in working hours due to COVID-19 19 (6,985 people).
