Abstract

Total of economically active in Bulungan Regency in August 2020 reached 66,362 people, an increase of 2.84 percent or 1,830 people compared to the economically active in August 2019 (64,532 people).
Number of working in Bulungan Regency in August 2020 reached 63,406 people, an increase of 2.76 percent or 1,704 people compared to the situation in August 2019 (61,702 people).
Unemployment Rate in Bulungan Regency in August 2020 reached 4.45 percent (2,956 people), an increase of 4.45 percentage points compared to the Unemployment Rate in August 2019 which amounted to 4.39 percent (2,830 people).
Structure of the working according to employment consists of the Service Sector (46.90 percent), the Agricultural Sector (33.32 percent) and the Manufacturing Sector (19.78 percent).
Majority of the population who work is not/have never attended school/have not graduated from elementary school (37.09 percent). Meanwhile, the population with the latest Diploma I / II / II education had the lowest working population (3.46 percent).
