Abstract

Total of Labor Force of Bulungan Regency in August 2019 reached 67,321 people, a decrease of 0.40 percent or as many as 270 people compared to August 2018 (67,591 people).

Number of Working of Bulungan Regency in August 2019 reached 64,244 people, an increase of 0.18 percent or as many as 117 people compared to August 2018 (64,127 people).

Unemployment Rate in Bulungan Regency in August 2019 reached 4.57 percent (3,077 people), a decrease of 0.55 percentage points compared to August 2018 TPT which was 5.12 percent (3,464 people).

Structure of the working according to employment consists of the Services Sector (47.50 percent), the Agricultural Sector (30.34 percent) and the Manufacturing Sector (22.16 percent).

Majority of the working population are not/have never attended school/have not finished elementary school (36.58 percent). While residents with the last Diploma I/II/II education have the least level of working population (3.78 percent).
