This capability can be applied by villages to support government programs such as SDGs, tourist villages, etc. BPS-Statistics of Bulungan Regency provides guidance for Desa Cantik to Apung Villages in the context of utilizing data for the first semester of 2021 village monographs.

In accordance with Law no. 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics, government agencies that will carry out statistical activities are required to report statistical activities to be carried out to BPS. After being researched and processed by BPS, a recommendation will be issued stating the activity in question is feasible or not to be continued. The purpose of reporting statistical activities is to complete the National Statistical System (SSN), so that statistical activities do not duplicate in carrying out statistical activities.
