Apung Village Lead Up Desa Cantik

Tanjung Selor, March 23rd 2021 - The Bureaucratic Reform (BR) Team of the BPS-Statistics of Bulungan Regency coordinated with the Apung Village.

BPS as the leading sector in statistical development is given the mandate to provide statistical guidance to ministries, agencies and local governments as a form of contribution to national development. As a tangible form of this statistical guidance, in 2021, BPS has launched the Sectoral Statistics Development program for 100 Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik). This program is one of the BPS quick wins to accelerate the implementation of bureaucratic reform.

Apung Village in Bulungan Regency is one of the selected villages that has the opportunity to receive the sectoral statistical guidance of this Desa Cantik. The visit of the BR Team of BPS-Statistics of Bulungan Regency with the Change Agent Network (CAN) to the Apung Village was aimed at coordinating the program of the Desa Cantik activities.

The visit of the BR Team of BPS-Statistics of Bulungan Regency was greeted positively by the village officials in order to make the Desa Cantik program a success. It is hoped that this program can help villages prepare development programs that are more targeted.
