Apung Village Consolidation Towards Desa Cantik

Friday, 23 April 2021, BPS Bulungan Regency held a Consolidation of Desa Cantik (Desa Cinta Statistik) in Apung Village which was attended directly by the Chief of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Utara Province, Chief of BPS-Statistics of Bulungan Regency, Acting Head of Bappeda and Research and Development for Bulungan Regency, Secretary of the Community and Village Empowerment Service , The Head of the Tanjung Selor Subdistrict, and the Head of the Apung Village and all village officials.

In this meeting, all parties commit themselves to the success of the Desa Cantik Program (Desa Cinta Statistic) in the Apung Village. With this program, it is hoped that the Apung Village can become an independent village, starting with the provision of data. As a quote from the DPMD Secretary's directive that "Without data, we are like walking in the dark." Quality data is very important, especially in the formulation of development planning at the village level. The Chief of BPS-Statistics of Kalimantan Utara Province also hopes that Desa Apung can become a best practice or as an example for other villages in managing statistical data at the village level.
