SI CANTIK TANIA: Implementation of Care for Agricultural Statistics Data

Tanjung Selor, June 24th 2021 - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bulungan Regency was honored to be a resource person at the IT Training Activity for Agricultural Extension Officers of the Bulungan Regency Agriculture Office. On that occasion, BPS-Statistics of Bulungan Regency, represented by the Coordinator of the Production Statistics Function, Asih Ika Suryandari, S.P. delivered a material entitled Implementation of the Love of Agricultural Statistics Data.

In addition, brief materials related to the Census and Agricultural Statistics Surveys conducted by BPS were also presented, such as the Area Sample Framework Survey (KSA), statistical data collection on food crops and horticulture (SP-Padi Palawija, SP-Horticulture), Tile Survey Food Crops, Integrated Agricultural Survey (SiTASI/AGRIS), and 2023 Agricultural Census (ST2023).

The enthusiasm of the training participants was seen where several agricultural extension workers asked about tiling activities including schedules, procedures, and allocation of tile samples.

The delivery of these various materials is expected to increase the awareness of agricultural extension workers about the importance of data - especially agricultural data - for policy making in the agricultural sector development.
