Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in April 2023 was 31.05 percent or a decrease of 7.05 points compared to the TPK in March 2023 which was recorded at 38.10 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Kalimantan Province in April 2023 was 40.66 percent, a decrease of 12.29 points compared to the TPK in March 2023 which was 52.95 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in April 2023 was 27.90 percent, a decrease of 5.08 points compared to the TPK in March 2023 which was 32.99 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in April 2023 was recorded at 1,697 visits, an increase of 83 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,614 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Kalimantan in the January-April 2023 period reached 7,415 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing increased from 14,982 people to 18,429 people in April 2023. The number of goods loaded decreased from 1,320,472 tons to 1,148,369 tons in April 2023.
The number of airplanes departing from airports in North Kalimantan was recorded to have increased from 445 to 513 flights in April 2023.
The number of departing passengers increased from 26,032 to 33,244 people in April 2023.
