Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in September 2021 was 29.69 percent or an increase of 8.72 points compared to ROR in August 2021 which was recorded at 20.97 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for star hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in September 2021 was 58.09 percent, an increase of 17.06 points compared to August 2021 TPK which was 41.03 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for non-star hotels/other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in September 2021 was 20.41 percent, an increase of 6.00 points compared to August 2021 TPK which was 14.42 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in September 2021 was recorded at 27,380 visits, an increase of 603 visits compared to the previous month which reached 27,983 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the January – September 2021 period reached 247,530 visits, while during January – September 2020 it reached 310,367 visits.
Sea transportation passengers departing decreased from 6,432 people to 5,560 people in September 2021. The number of goods loaded increased from 955,117 tons to 1,054,717 tons in September 2021.
The number of aircraft departing from the airport in Kalimantan Utara Province was recorded to have increased from 285 to 412 flights in September 2021. The number of departing passengers increased from 4,855 to 11,115 people in September 2021.
