Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in March 2023 was 38.10 percent or an increase of 3.90 points compared to the TPK in February 2023 which was recorded at 34.20 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Kalimantan Province in March 2023 was 52.95 percent, an increase of 2.35 points compared to the TPK in February 2023 which was 50.60 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in March 2023 was 32.99 percent, an increase of 4.09 points compared to the TPK in February 2023 which was 28.90 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in March 2023 was recorded at 1,614 visits or a decrease of 1,056 visits compared to the previous month which reached 2,670 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Kalimantan in the January-March 2023 period reached 5,718 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing increased from 12,970 people to 14,982 people in March 2023. The amount of goods loaded increased from 839,902 tons to 1,320,472 tons in March 2023.
The number of airplanes departing from airports in North Kalimantan was recorded to have increased from 393 to 445 flights in March 2023. The number of departing passengers decreased from 23,493 to 26,032 in March 2023.
