Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in June 2022 was 33.39 percent or an increase of 3.46 points compared to TPK in May 2022 which was recorded at 29.92 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in June 2022 was 49.47 percent, an increase of 5.00 points compared to the TPK in May 2022 which was 44.47 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star hotels/other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in June 2022 was 27.73 percent, an increase of 2.72 points compared to the TPK in May 2022 which was 25.01 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in June 2022 was recorded at 1,217 visits, an increase of 433 visits compared to the previous month which reached 784 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Utara in the period January – June 2022 reached 27,913 visits.
Sea transportation passengers departing increased from 20,732 people to 26,273 people in June 2022. The number of goods loaded increased from 997,258 tons to 1,080,535 tons in June 2022.
The number of airplanes departing from the airport in Kalimantan Utara decreased from 482 to 466 flights in June 2022. The number of departing passengers increased from 23,908 to 24,473 people in June 2022.
