Abstract

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels and other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in January 2023 of 29.59 percent or decreased 7.06 points compared to TPK in December 2022 which was recorded at 36.66 percent.

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in North Kalimantan Province in January 2023 of 43.88 percent, decreased 3.73 points compared to the December 2022 TPK which was 47.61 percent.

Room occupancy rate (TPK) of other non -star/accommodation hotels in North Kalimantan Province in January 2023 of 26.05 percent, decreased 6.76 points compared to the December 2022 TPK which was 32.80 percent.

The number of foreign tourist visits in January 2023 was recorded at 1,434 visits or decreased by 2,824 visits compared to the previous month which reached 4,258 visits.

Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Kalimantan in the period of 2023 reached 1,434 visits.

Sea transport passengers departing decreased from 26,914 people to 14,286 people in January 2023. The number of goods contained down from 1,503,997 tons to 1,167,819 tons in January 2023.

The number of aircraft departing from the airport in North Kalimantan was recorded down from 632 to 425 flights in January 2023. The number of passengers departing from 31,020 to 24,573 people in January 2023.
