Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in December 2022 was 36.66 percent or an increase of 0.18 points compared to the TPK in November 2022 which was recorded at 36.47 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Kalimantan Province in December 2022 was 47.61 percent, a decrease of 0.01 points compared to the November 2022 TPK which was 47.62 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in December 2022 was 32.80 percent, an increase of 0.23 points compared to the TPK in November 2022 which was 32.57 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in December 2022 was recorded at 4,258 visits or a decrease of 2,965 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,293 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Kalimantan in the January-December 2022 period reached 40,047 visits.
Departing sea transport passengers increased from 18,451 people to 26,914 people in December 2022. The amount of goods loaded increased from 1,321,187 tons to 1,503,997 tons in December 2022.
The number of airplanes departing from airports in North Kalimantan was recorded to have increased from 562 to 632 flights in December 2022. The number of departing passengers increased from 23,798 to 31,020 in December 2022.
