Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in October 2022 was 35.31 percent or an increase of 2.84 points compared to the TPK in September 2022 which was recorded at 32.47 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in October 2022 was 50.26 percent, an increase of 5.82 points compared to the TPK in September 2022 which was 44.44 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of non-star hotels/other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in October 2022 was 30.13 percent, an increase of 1.67 points compared to the TPK in September 2022 which was 28.46 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in October 2022 was recorded at 1,423 visits or a decrease of 223 visits compared to the previous month which reached 1,646 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Kalimantan Utara in the period January - October 2022 reached 34,496 visits.
Sea transport passengers departing have increased from 12,738 people to 16,316 people in October 2022. The amount of cargo transported increased from 1,117,090 tons to 1,266,241 tons in October 2022.
The number of airplanes departing from airports in North Kalimantan was recorded to have increased from 517 to 533 flights in October 2022. The number of departing passengers increased from 21,295 to 23,239 people in October 2022.
