Abstract

The Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for star hotels and other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in May 2022 was 29.92 percent or an increase of 4.53 points compared to the ROR in April 2022 which was recorded at 25.39 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for star hotels in Kalimantan Utara Province in May 2022 was 44.47 percent, an increase of 8.66 points compared to April 2022 TPK which was 35.81 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (ROR) for non-star hotels/other accommodations in Kalimantan Utara Province in May 2022 was 25.01 percent, an increase of 3.14 points compared to April 2022 ROR which was 21.87 percent.
The number of foreign tourist visits in May 2022 was recorded at 784 visits, an increase of 184 visits compared to the previous month which reached 600 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting Kalimantan Utara Province in the period January – May 2022 reached 26,696 visits.
Sea transportation passengers departing decreased from 22,601 people to 20,732 people in May 2022. The number of goods loaded increased from 989,860 tons to 997,258 tons in May 2022.
The number of aircraft departing from the airport in Kalimantan Utara Province was recorded to have increased from 417 to 482 flights in May 2022. The number of departing passengers increased from 21,663 to 23,908 people in May 2022.
