Abstract

Of the 90 cities monitored for the national CPI in November 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation was Tanjung Pandan City at 5.89 percent, Sumenep City at 5.51 percent, and Merauke City at 5.25 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest year on year (yoy) inflation occurred in Jayapura City at 1.82 percent, Banda Aceh City at 1.93 percent and Sintang City at 1.94 percent.

Prices of goods/services in Tanjung Selor City in November 2023 experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 1.95 percent, monthly inflation of 0.37 percent, and calendar year inflation of 1.76 percent.

Year-on-year (yoy) inflation in Tanjung Selor City was influenced by price increases in the Health group by 4.74 percent, the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group by 4.13 percent, the Transportation group by 2.40 percent, the Personal Care and Services group Others at 2.37 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel group at 1.14 percent, Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision group at 0.70 percent, Clothing and Footwear group at 0.55 percent, group Recreation, Sports and Culture was 0.33 percent, the Education group was 0.00 percent, the Information, Communication and Financial Services group was -0.22 percent, and the Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group was -1.67 percent.
