Abstract

  • In July 2023, Tanjung Selor City experienced year on year (YoY) inflation of 2.71 percent, monthly inflation of 0.34 percent, and calendar year inflation of 1.32 percent.
  • Of the 90 cities monitored by the national CPI in July 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation was Merauke City at 5.21 percent, Manokwari City at 4.98 percent, and Timika City at 4.93 percent. Meanwhile, the lowest year on year (yoy) inflation occurred in Gunungsitoli City at 0.50 percent, Bungo City at 0.80 percent and Jambi City at 1.19 percent.
  • Prices of goods/services for the City of Tanjung Selor in June 2023 experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 2.71 percent, monthly inflation of 0.34 percent, and calendar year inflation of 1.32 percent.
  • Year on year (yoy) inflation in Tanjung Selor City was affected by price increases in the Transportation group by 14.09 percent, the Health group by 5.12 percent, the Personal Care and Other Services group by 4.10 percent, the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuels by 2.10 percent, the Recreation, Sports and Culture group by 1.27 percent, the Clothing and Footwear group by 0.67 percent, the Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision group by 0.52 percent, the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group by 0.39 percent, the Education group by 0.00 percent, the Information, Communication and Financial Services group by -0.48 percent, and the Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group by -0, 49 percent.
