Abstract

The price of goods/services joint Tarakan City and Tanjung Selor City in February 2023 experienced Year on Year (yoy) inflation of 4.64 percent with a monthly inflation (MTM) of 0.12 percent. The city of Tanjung Selor experienced Year On Year (yoy) inflation of 6.76 percent with a monthly inflation (MTM) of 0.25 percent. The city of Tarakan experienced Year On Year (yoy) inflation of 4.10 percent with a monthly inflation (MTM) of 0.09 percent.
The annual inflation (yoy) of the combined Tarakan City and Tanjung Selor City is influenced by the transportation group by 15.28 percent, the private maintenance group and other services by 7.99 percent, the group of equipment, equipment and household maintenance by 5.76 percent, the group food, beverages and tobacco by 3.87 percent, food and beverage/restaurant supply groups by 3.16 percent, residential groups, water, electricity and household fuel by 1.79 percent, clothing and footwear groups by 0, 75 percent, education group by 0.63 percent, health groups by 0.62 percent, information groups, communication and financial services by 0.47 percent, as well as recreational, sports and culture groups by 0.32 percent.
