Abstract

HDI 2022 increase occurs in all dimensions, both longevity and healthy living, knowledge, and a decent standard of living.

All dimensions HDI 2022 have increased, especially the decent standard of living.

In the dimension of longevity and healthy life, babies born in 2022 have the hope of being able to live up to 72.76 years, 0.02 years longer than those born in the previous year.

In the education dimension, the expected length of schooling for people aged 7 years and over increased 0.02 years compared to the previous year, from 13.01 years to 13.03 years, while the average length of schooling for people aged 25 years and over increased 0.01 years, from 9.19 years to 9.20 years in 2022.

The dimension of a decent standard of living as measured by the average real expenditure per capita (adjusted) increased by 218 thousand rupiah (2.31 percent) compared to the previous year.
