Abstract

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels and other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in August 2022 was 32.68 percent or decreased by 1.08 points compared to TPK in July 2022 which was recorded at 33.76 percent.
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Kalimantan Province in August 2022 was 48.77 percent, an increase of 2.61 points compared to the TPK in July 2022 which was 46.16 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for non-star hotels/other accommodations in North Kalimantan Province in August 2022 was 27.27 percent, a decrease of 2.32 points compared to July 2022 TPK which was 29.59 percent.
The number of foreign tourist arrivals in August 2022 was recorded at 1,016 visits, a decrease of 1,482 visits compared to the previous month which reached 2,498 visits.
Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Kalimantan in the period January – August 2022 reached 31,427 visits.
Sea transportation passengers departing decreased from 29,419 people to 25,308 people in August 2022. The number of goods loaded was 1,081,570 tons in August 2022.
The number of aircraft departing from the airport in North Kalimantan was recorded to have fallen from 479 to 453 flights in August 2022. The number of departing passengers fell from 25,199 to 21,626 people in August 2022.
