Abstract

The economy of Bulungan Regency in Q1-2025 based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached IDR 6.57 trillion and at 2010 constant prices reached IDR 3.45 trillion.
The economy of Bulungan Regency in Q1-2025 compared to Q1-2024 grew by 3.59 percent (y-on-y). From the industry side, Tertiary Sector experienced the highest growth of 7.97 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Government Final Consumption Expenditure experienced the highest growth of 10.29 percent.
The economy of Bulungan Regency in Q1-2025 compared to the previous quarter contracted by 2.84 percent (q-to-q). From the industry side, the Secondary Sector experienced the deepest growth contraction of 5.35 percent. From the expenditure side, Government Final Consumption Expenditure experienced the highest contraction of 41.09 percent.
Spatially, the economic structure of Kalimantan Utara Province in the Q1-2025 was dominated by Tarakan Municipality at 37.63 percent and the smallest was Tana Tidung Regency at 6.11 percent. Meanwhile, Bulungan Regency was in third place with a contribution of 17.19 percent. Bulungan Regency's economic performance was recorded as having the third highest growth of 3.59 percent (y-on-y).
