Abstract

The economy of Bulungan Regency based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached IDR 6.47 trillion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR 3.44 trillion.
  • The economy of Bulungan Regency in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter experienced a growth of 2.67 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Secondary Sector at 3.74 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Household Final Consumption Expenditure Component (PK-RT) experienced the highest growth of 0.98 percent.
  • The economy of Bulungan Regency in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023 grew by 3.23 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Secondary Sector Business Field experienced the highest growth of 6.76 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Government Final Expenditure Component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 5.02 percent.
  • Until the third quarter of 2024, the economy of Bulungan Regency experienced growth of 3.55 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the Secondary Sector Business Field experienced the highest growth of 6.66 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Final Government Expenditure Component (PK-P) experienced the highest growth of 6.17 percent. Spatially, the economic structure of North Kalimantan Province in the third quarter of 2024 was dominated by Tarakan City at 37.35 percent and the smallest was Tana Tidung Regency at 5.99 percent. Meanwhile, Bulungan Regency was in third place with a contribution of 17.03 percent. Bulungan Regency's economic performance was recorded as having the third highest growth of 3.23 percent (y-on-y).
