Abstract

Economy of Bulungan Regency in 2023 is based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reaching IDR 25.58 trillion and at 2010 constant prices reaching IDR 13.18 trillion.

Economy of Bulungan Regency in 2023 grew by 4.60 percent. From the production side, growth was driven by growth in all categories of business fields, where the highest was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business field at 20.46 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the NPISHs expenditure component at 10.53 percent.

Spatially, the economic structure of Kalimantan Utara Province in 2023 is dominated by Tarakan Municipality at 35.28 percent and the smallest is Tana Tidung Regency at 6.11 percent. Meanwhile, Bulungan Regency is in third place with a contribution of 17.32 percent. Bulungan Regency's economic performance was recorded as having the second highest growth of 4.60 percent (y-on-y).
