Abstract

Prices of goods/services for Tanjung Selor City in May 2023 experienced year on year (y-on-y) inflation of 4.51 percent, monthly inflation of 0.03 percent, and calendar year inflation of 0.94 percent.

Year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Tanjung Selor City was affected by price increases in the Transportation group by 19.81 percent, the Personal Care and Other Services group by 6.18 percent, the Health group by 3.41 percent, the Food, Beverage and Tobacco by 3.15 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel group by 2.50 percent, Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Maintenance group by 1.82 percent, Clothing and Footwear group by 1.54 percent, the Recreation, Sports and Culture group by 1.43 percent, the Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision group by 0.89 percent, the Education group by 0.00 percent, and the Information, Communication and Financial Services group by -0.47 percent .
