Abstract

Prices for goods/services in Tanjung Selor City in January 2023 experienced year on year (y-on-y) inflation of 6.50 percent, monthly inflation of -0.04 percent, and calendar year inflation of -0.04 percent.

Year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Tanjung Selor City was affected by price increases in the Transportation group by 19.57 percent, the Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group by 9.22 percent, the Personal Care and Other Services group by 7.46 percent, the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group by 7.05 percent, the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel group by 4.73 percent, the Health group by 2.44 percent, the Recreation, Sports and Culture group by 1 .76 percent, the Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision group by 0.71 percent, the Clothing and Footwear group by 0.46 percent, the Education group 0.00 percent, and the Information, Communication and Financial Services group by -0.13 percent.
