Abstract

  • Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) in December 2021 experienced inflation of 0.98 percent. Tarakan Municipality experienced inflation of 0.90 percent and Tanjung Selor Municipality experienced inflation of 1.31 percent.
  • Inflation in Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) was influenced by the increase in the index in the beverage and tobacco group by 2.34 percent, then the food transportation group 1.22 percent, the food and beverage/restaurant supply group 1.18 percent, personal care and other services group 0.28 percent, equipment, equipment and maintenance group 0.16 percent, housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups 0.03 percent, recreation, sports and culture group 0.00 percent and the education group by 0.00 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure group that experienced a decrease in the index was the health group -0.05 percent, the information, communication and financial services group by -0.05 percent and the clothing and footwear group by -0.01 percent.
