Abstract

Farmer Terms of Trade (FTT) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
FTT is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher the FTT, the relatively strong the farmer's level of ability / purchasing power.
The FTT of Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2021 was 107.88 or an increase of 0.76 percent compared to the FTT in October 2021. The increase in the FTT was caused by changes in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which was higher than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).
FTT per sub-sector of Kalimantan Utara Province in November 2021, namely the Food Crops Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPP) of 99.28; Horticultural Farmer Terms of Trade (NTPH) of 94.01 ; Plantation Plants Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPR) is 145.59; The Livestock Farmers Terms of Trade (NTPT) is 104.80 and the Fishermen and Fish Cultivators Farmers Terms of Trade (NTNP) is 105.24.
The Agricultural Household Business Farmers Terms of Trade of Kalimantan Utara Province (NTUP) in November 2021 was 110.33, an increase of 0.74 percent compared to the NTUP of the previous month.
In November 2021, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in Kalimantan Utara Province by 0.09 percent, which was caused by an increase in the index in the Recreation, Sports and Culture group of 0.27 percent.
